LiveWire Mobile is a world leader in ringback, full-track music, and integrated storefront services - bringing an unmatched level of personalization to mobile communications. We provide operators with new subscription, content and advertising revenue opportunities and give subscribers the ability to create a unique mobile identity and mobile experience.

We are seeking a senior level software engineer, with experience working with VoIP. The ideal candidate will be productive across different technologies and roles.

The initial focus for the candidate will be to participate in the VoIP project for the Ringback Tone platform. This platform is in the core of the LWM Ringback Tone application which is included in the portfolio of the personalized services developed and deployed by LWM.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design, implementation, and testing for the VoIP project.
• Participate in sprint, release, and daily planning sessions. Participate in cross-team code and task reviews. Contribute design input and scheduling estimates.
• Help enhance the existing development environment to streamline productivity and maximize efficiency.
• Research best practices and new tools in order to keep yourself and LiveWire Mobile up to date.
• Proactively suggest alternatives to solve business issues and know when to raise issues to the next level.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Engineering degree (BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Math or Electrical Engineering) required, MS desirable
• 5+ years C/C++ development experience.
• Prior experience writing design documents is required
• Strong Experience with UNIX (Solaris, Linux) operating systems is required
• Experience with VoIP applications, protocols and standards
• Working experience with make or gmake tools is required
• Prior experience with SIP protocol is a plus.
• Strong experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Unix shell, ...) is a plus.
• Prior experience with MySQL is a plus.
