This is an exciting full time opportunity. The successful candidate will join a growing team that will build, test and customize various distributed applications for the world's top telecommunications operators. Responsibilities will range from creating and maintaining multi-tiered web applications running on multiple servers to developing Entity and Session EJBs.
We use an Agile development methodology (Scrum) and make use some Extreme Programming practices such as Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration. It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to follow the current method and contribute improvements to it, as necessary.
The successful candidate is expected to be comfortable in Unix as this is the production environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Java, HTML/JS, JSP
- Comfortable with Linux/Solaris environments
- Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL)
- Ability to learn quickly and work in an Agile environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Must be comfortable in a high energy environment and have "CAN DO!" attitude.
- Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills
Desired Skills
- Experience with Struts
- Experience with C/C++ programming
